After a mixed 2016, it’s no surprise that DC are quickly looking ahead. The DCEU is in need of a highly praised film, or at least something that isn’t almost universally panned by Rotten Tomatoes. That might be why we’re getting another trailer for next summer’s Wonder Woman. The film’s second trailer is coming on Thursday, according to director Patty Jenkins.
Jenkins tweeted about the high number of Wonder Woman costumes she’d seen on Halloween. Those Diana Prince fans have something else to look forward to this week. The second trailer will run in cinemas in front of Doctor Strange.
Thanks everyone for sharing their awesome Halloween costumes!! So great. So appreciated! Can't wait til THURSDAY, to share back… 😉

It seems odd that a film which is still seven months away is getting a second trailer. Although, DC and Warner Bros. do tend to flood the market ahead of a big tentpole release. At least they have a fantastic record with trailers, they’ve cut together some fantastic teasers so far.
If you’re planning to see Doctor Strange on Thursday, you might want to arrive a little early to see this trailer. While some will see it on the big screen, it will also be available online a little earlier in the day. We’ll have it right here when it lands.
Wonder Woman’ hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
