20th Century Fox just dropped two new posters for X-Men: Apocalypse today on the X-Men Movies app. Though ten character posters for the new film were released yesterday, two key characters were missing from the roster.
This latest look into the world of mutants features Angel (Ben Hardy), one of the four horsemen. This close-up highlights the updated version of this beloved character, in which he’s rockin’ a pretty killer Mike Tyson-esque face tattoo.
Also released is the character poster for supervillain Apocalypse, played by the barely recognizable Oscar Isaac. It’s a bit of a departure from the charming Poe Dameron, isn’t it?
It’s a new Angel, but is he improved? Does Apocalypse come off as malevolently as he should? Chime in and let us know your thoughts.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters 27 May 2016.
