Developer Tom Happ announced on the game’s official blog, that his Metroid-style game Axiom Verge will be heading to Xbox One and Wii U later this year. Previously only available on PlayStation 4 and PC, this is the first time owners of other consoles will be able to get their hands on this game.

While announcing the jump to other consoles, Happ also gave an updated on his previously announced PlayStation Vita version of the game:

“Last week we finally submitted the Vita version of Axiom Verge to Sony’s certification system. For all console platforms this process takes some time – how long is beyond our power – but it’s on its way.”

Axiom Verge was released on PlayStation 4 and PC last year to favorable reviews.
