Here we go… Final episode!

Colleen getting sidelined seems like an excuse to give the four protagonists a chance to go on to their final battle. Yet, I’m glad this happened otherwise her fight against Bakuto wouldn’t have had such a satisfying ending. This scene only reinforces my desire for a Daughters of the Dragon spin-off. Can we get that instead of an Iron Fist Season 2? Misty Knight is ready!

Karen Page and Trish Walker’s bond over being close to their respective Defenders is great. Because their both reporters of some kind, I wish there was more interaction between the two. Speaking of secondary characters, I wonder if we’ll see Madame Gao again. Unlike Murakami, we didn’t see her story have an obvious resolution.

I really enjoyed the fight scene at the bottom of the hole where The Hand tries fulfilling their goal. Everything about the battle is good, down to Elektra and Daredevil having their personal brawl. The choreography is perfect and (again, I’m going to mention it) the color hues are spot on.

A lot happens in this last episode that I’m sure will carry over to each of the characters’ respective series, I just hope there’s a Defenders Season 2 in the works because the dynamic of all these characters together works perfectly.

Oh and as for the cliffhanger: Have any of you heard of Maggie Murdock?
