Three weeks ahead of the fall premiere, The CW has unveiled a new poster for The Flash Season 3. We get a bold look at Grant Gustin’s Scarlett Speedster looking like more of a Red Streak than ever before. The yellow caption at the top of the poster teases Flashpoint saying, “New Destinies. New Dangers.” Check out the new poster below:

If only he this was the color red he wore on the show. He’d probably stick out quite a bit, against the more muted color palette of the Arrowverse. This poster is awesome, though! It only adds to the already unbelievable hype surrounding the show’s return.

This season will kick off with the Flashpoint story arc. Where the show will go after that narrative comes to a conclusion is anyone’s guess. However, there’s plenty of Flash lore being brought to the fore this time around. Gorilla City will be properly introduced, as will Mirror Master, and a few other deep cut characters in the rogues gallery. Perhaps fans should even expect to see the return of Killer Frost in the Kevin Smith-directed episode seven.

Audiences should also be on the look out for how Barry’s Season 1 finale decision will impact the other series. With the Reverse Flash joining Damien Darhk, Malcolm Merlyn and Captain Cold in the Legion of Doom, all of our heroes will have their work cut out for them. Better for us, though. Let the excitement and insanity ensue.

You can read the Season 3 episode one synopsis below:

“WHAT WOULD YOU SACRIFICE TO HAVE EVERYTHING YOU’VE EVER WANTED? — Barry is living his dream life – his parents are alive, he’s asked Iris West on a date and he can finally be a normal guy as Central City has another speedster, Kid Flash, running around saving the city. When Barry starts forgetting parts of his old life, the Reverse Flash taunts his nemesis and tells him that there will be serious repercussions for Barry and the ones he loves if he continues to live in this alternate universe. In addition to losing his memories, his powers will also start to fade. When disaster strikes, Barry must decide if he wants to continue to live in this world as Barry Allen or return to his universe as The Flash.”

The Flash returns Tuesday, October 4.
