Amy Jo Johnson (Pink Ranger, Kimberly Hart)
Though she could be useful, Valley Girl Kimberly the Pink Ranger was often stuck in the damsel in distress role. Nonetheless, she is a firm fan favourite and lasted all the way until halfway through Mighty Morphin’s third season, when the actress left to explore new acting opportunities. Lucky for her, that actually worked out.
Amy Jo Johnson is easily the member of the original Mighty Morphin cast who has had the most prolific acting career since leaving the show. She has a long list of one-off and recurring TV roles to her name, and she has had a number of lead roles, too. Most recently, she starred in cop show Flashpoint as a no-nonsense SWAT officer.
Away from acting, Johnson is an accomplished singer with three studio albums behind her. In 2014, she was snapped busking in Toronto while dressed as the Pink Ranger – apparently it was a dare by none other than David Yost.
