In conjunction with Entertainment Weekly, Warner Bros. has released a new image of the League’s impending alliance.

In the photo, the only members featured are The Flash, Batman, and Wonder Woman. For now, there is no context explaining Aquaman and Cyborg’s notable absence. However, we could assume this indicates that Barry Allen was the only hero to accept Bruce and Diana’s invitation. In the footage shown over the summer, Aquaman did not seem readily willing to join. Cyborg’s status remains unknown, as well, but perhaps the Amazon won’t have much luck in recruiting him early on.

Of course, we still know very little about Superman’s eventual return. Aside from Henry Cavill’s black-suit tease, and the first team photo released (pictured in the feature image), we don’t expect to see too much of him for a while. It would be interesting if the Man of Steel didn’t appear in any of the promotional material going forward. Again, his return in Justice League is inevitable, but it’d be nice if his appearance was surprising in nature.

Rumors recently began swarming that one of the Green Lanterns may cameo in the film. However, said speculation has yet to be officially verified. If true, it’s certainly something to look forward to. Another aspect of the film that may please fans is the family dynamic teased by Ezra Miller.

“Flash is Ringo Starr, he annoys everybody, but he doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone…Uncle Fish Curry (Aquaman) is very grumpy. Dad (Batman) gets grumpy too. Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with the Flash, she’s still very compassionate.”

We can’t wait to see all of this and more in full display on the big screen. Justice League is set to open in theaters on November 17, 2017.
