The train only keeps chugging for FX’s What We Do in the Shadows, and the gang of everyone’s favorite bloodsuckers are ready to come back with a fourth season. Just in, FX has dropped a new teaser, and it showcases the returning characters, as well as a successfully reincarnated Colin Robinson.

What We Do in the Shadows follows four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years. In Season 3, the vampires are elevated to a new level of power and will encounter the vampire from which all vampires have descended, a tempting Siren, gargoyles, werewolf kickball, Atlantic City casinos, wellness cults, ex-girlfriends, gyms and supernatural curiosities galore.
Though the characters had gone their separate ways in the last season, it’s very likely Season 4 will find a way for them to come back to each other. I guess the only person with a clear change is Colin, seeing that he’s reverted back to a baby.
While the premise does sound silly, I think it does offer a chance to comment on how babies are also real-life energy vampires. We already know how infuriating Colin can be when he’s an adult, so we can only imagine what kind of horror he can unleash as a child that needs constant caring for.
What We Do in the Shadows returns with its fourth season on July 12 on FX.
