Anyone who follows Mark Hamill online will know that he has a fantastic sense of humor, so it’s only natural that we would have clips of messing around on the set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Disney has just revealed a new gag reel for the film, and it has Hamill fooling around in Poe Dameron’s X-Wing.
Though we don’t really get to see Luke ride an X-Wing in the movie, it was fun to see Hamill find the tragetting computer on the ship and say that he didn’t need it. Besides that, it’s some fun clips of John Boyega and Oscar Isaac fooling around on set.
Though I would have loved to see what Adam Driver was like behind the scenes, it was said that he decided to go method and was one of the gloomiest people on set; he even went so far as to refuse lunch with Mark Hamill. John Boyega does have a fun story where he says he would randomly hug Driver on the set—to which Driver wouldn’t react and would just let it happen to himself.
With all the BTS drama going around with Solo and even other franchise films like X-Men, it’s cool to see that the set of The Last Jedi seemed to have everyone get along. I’m only bummed out that we don’t get to see more of Carrie Fisher making her signature jokes. I do have a feeling that her jokes were more on the dirty side, though.
