Solo: A Star Wars Story may have underperformed in the box office, but some fans are still asking Lucasfilm for a sequel online. People involved with the film have been revealing tidbits here and there, and writer Jon Kasdan gave us some interesting insight on the deleted character of Korso.

Apparently, Korso, the original muscle of Beckett’s crew who died on Mimban, was also supposed to be Lando’s older brother:

You can actually see Korso for a few seconds in the final cut of the film, but his part was ultimately cut; if Korso did make it to the movie though, it would justify more why Beckett decided to bring Chewbacca along since he needed someone to fill in the ‘muscle’ role.

For now, Lucasfilm has had no mention on plans to make a sequel for Solo. We know that the Obi-Wan Kenobi film has been retooled to be a series, and some fans want the same for Solo 2. Personally, I would much rather get a full movie since I believe Star Wars is all about theatrical spectacle. The again, I’m just waiting to see how The Mandalorian turns out. There’s always a concern that CGI and special effects are going to be limited, seeing that a budget for a series can only go so high.

Solo 2 hasn’t been officially announced, but you can catch The Mandalorian when it debuts on Disney+ which launches on Nov. 12.
