‘Castlevania‘ is coming back! This is great since last season ended with Belmont giving his all to save Gresit from certain doom and in the process, came face to face with a shocking truth. Those cliffhangers really suck, but it’s okay because screenwriter Warren Ellis, confirmed the news that season 2 of ‘Castlevania‘ is a go letting fans know that it is returning this summer with eight episodes, double the number of installments the first season had.
Though many fans were worried Ellis’ response helped alleviate ‘Castlevania‘ fans fears
FAQ: people keep asking, so I guess word didn’t get around? We’re coming back this summer, for eight episodes, from Netflix.
Now with season 2 a go many fans are hoping that viewership will be high enough that a season 3 will happen and hopefully with more episodes.
And if you happen to be new to ‘Castlevania‘ we highly recommend the series, which is based on the 1989 video game “Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse.” And follows the story of Trevor Belmont, who defends the nation of Wallachia from Dracula and his minions.
If you need more of a reason to watch the official description of the show says:
“A vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself. The last surviving member of a disgraced clan fights to save Eastern Europe from Dracula.”
We should have an official date for season 2 of ‘Castlevania‘ soon and if it’s released around the same time as Season 1 then we should be expecting a July date. In the mean time if you are new to Castlevania or want to re-watch Season 1 you can do so on Netflix.
