After more than a decade of Transformers movies, we’re finally going to be getting an adaptation of Beast Wars coming to the big screen. Just in, Steven Caple Jr. just dropped a first look at the Autobots and Terrorcons in the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

Besides the familiar Autobots, we also get a look at the Terrorcons in the film. Unlike Decepticons, Terrorcons are something akin to “robot zombies” and have shown up in other Transformers shows.
With this show adapting Beast Wars though, a lot of people are wondering where the Maximals and Predacons are. We don’t know when the movie will give us a look at them, but we do know that Ron Perlman (Hellboy) will be playing Maximal leader Optimus Primal. We have yet to know which Predacons can show up in the movie; then again, will they be saved to give room for the Terrorcons in the spotlight?
Though the main conflict of Transformers has always been between the Autobots and Decepticons, Cinemablend says that Rise of the Beasts will introduce different “tribes” of Transformers. We already met robots that turned into dinosaurs with Age of Extinction, but Beasts would be the first time we watch them turn into other animals. Will they be realistic animals like in the show? Or robots that just look like animals?
Until we get our first teaser, all we can really do is guess, but with this reveal, we should probably get something before the year ends.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts comes to theaters on June 24, 2022.
