Listen to the Full Theme of The Book of Boba Fett

Composer Ludwig Göransson had given us some great Star Wars music with The Mandalorian, and though Din Djarin’s theme has become memorable among fans, we have some new theme music for the newly debuted The Book of Boba Fett.

Listen to the music here:

Seeing that Boba is the OG Mandalorian of Star Wars, it would make sense that his theme would harken a little the original Mando, but this time, we have some choral humming to give Boba a specific feel. If anything, it kind of reminds of The Hu’s song Sugaan Essena from the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order:

Personally, I think the show has gotten off to a slow start. We know that Boba is going to spend the series trying to gain the power that Jabba had over Tatooine, but it’s being mixed with a bunch of flashbacks from Attack of the Clones.

If anything, fan service is already rife, with the show revealing to us what happened to Boba when he fell into the Sarlacc Pit. Now we should expect many different faces from the Underworld to clash with Boba as he tries to solidify his seat of power.

Personally, I think The Book of Boba Fett has to find a way to make Boba more distinct than Din Djarin this time around. Besides his backstory, he functions pretty much the same way, adhering to his own code of honor while being a capable fighter. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what Lucasfilm has in store for Boba down the line.
