Henry Cavill may be in the spotlight once again with Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but one other franchise that he was supposed to lead was supposed to be the Man from UNCLE films that was kickstarted by Guy Ritchie. While the film may have bombed in the box office, the film has earned a sort of cult following, and rumor has it that a sequel is underway.

According to insider Daniel Richtman (via Small Screen), Cavill is currently in talks to reprise the role of Napoleon Solo in a Man from UNCLE sequel. Granted, Richtman has recently been hit and miss with his scoops, but there is a good chunk of fans out there who want to see more of Cavill’s sophisticated scoundrel from UNCLE.

One actor who might not be making a comeback in Armie Hammer who has recently been under fire for some recent scandals. Producers are said to be considering recasting  the role of Ilya, but nothing official has been confirmed. We don’t have any updates on other returning cast members like Alicia Vikander or High Grant either.

While Man from UNCLE floundered in the box office, the film has definitely earned a following, and lot of people would want to see more of this franchise. Personally, I thought it was a great coming back to form for Guy Ritchie, and the setting of the 60s just really brings out his style with the unique fashion and music; a real refresher since he’s been pursuing period movies like Sherlock and Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

A Man from UNCLE sequel has not been officially announced.
