Joker and Harley Quinn’s relationship has always been nothing short of acidic, no pun intended. They’re both typically overtaken by an abundance of criminally insane joy, and while Harley has a penchant for getting mean with others, Joker’s anger sometimes results in Harley being on the receiving end. They are in love, though, more or less, but Joker’s kind of love is tough — deadly, even. When Suicide Squad graces theaters on August 5, audiences will see that love played out on screen. Thanks to the leaked photo below, taken from Rolling Stone’s upcoming summer preview, fans can get an early taste of what’s to come.

Jared Leto’s Joker does not look happy. Can’t you hear Quinn saying, “Sorry Mistah J,” as she tries tirelessly to get back on his good side. But perhaps this is her right before she puts her foot down, takes a stand, and walks away. Or maybe she’s already left him, joined the Squad, and this is his retaliation. So many big questions raised from one little blurry image, like a certain Wonder Woman photo that offers up a Gotham tease.

Interestingly, there’s still plenty we don’t know about the film. According to David Ayer, the plot’s secrets remain intact. Decipher what you can from the synopsis below and let us know your thoughts and theories on the leaked photo.

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
