Wonder Woman/Diana Prince actress Gal Gadot was recently spotted filming at a museum in Paris. We’ve seen other images of the actress on set of the film, showcasing her first meeting with Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and battle ready Amazons. This new set photo appears to be the first modern day tease we’ve gotten, if the picture below is any indication that the World War I period piece will also feature the heroine’s presumed trip to Gotham.
Yes, that is the logo of Wayne Enterprises on the side of that truck, which raises the question of whether or not Wonder Woman will make an appearance in modern day Gotham. If so, does this mean Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman will play a part in the Amazon’s standalone? With all of the above in mind, how much time will the film spend in said location? There are so many theories and questions to be fostered from one image.
However, it should also be noted Wayne Enterprises is a global brand, so perhaps the image does not hint at Wonder Woman showing up in Gotham, per se. But the connection is still a fascinating one, especially since, as mentioned before, it’s clearly modern day; the truck is certainly not circa 1920. Which also begs another question of how the film will work in relation to Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad in the DCEU timeline.
There probably won’t be concrete confirmation offered on anything until Wonder Woman arrives in theaters on June 2, 2015. Until then, sound off with your thoughts and theories in the comments below,
