Destiny 2: Second Expansion Accidentally Leaked Online

Reports have recently revealed that a second expansion (DLC) for “Destiny 2”  called “Gods of Mars” has been accidentally posted to the PlayStation Store. This is just a few weeks after “Destiny 2: Curse of the Osiris” was released.

The next DLC for “Destiny 2” will feature loads of new content and a new faction. The accidentally posted details have obviously already been deleted by the PS Store team, but this didn’t stop some Reddit users from taking screenshots before the posts were deleted. This caused fans to get excited since the previous release “Curse of Osiris” was a disappointment to most users.

Information that was discovered during this upload besides the new faction also includes a new area called “Frigid Vale” that will feature Charlemagne as the villain who imprisoned Rasputin in an ancient vault. It also showed that players will be tasked to cooperate with Ana Bray, who most thought had long passed away. The Players will have the mission of combating Charlemagne, freeing Rasputin, and uncovering the secrets of Clovis Bay.

If you care to check out more details such as story missions, adventures, themed weapons, armor, and gear and so forth you can take a look at the Reddit thread here.

Since the developers of “Destiny 2” haven’t had an official announcement on the second expansion yet, fans are being advised to take the news with a grain of salt. However, the release date in the PlayStation store had a March 2018 date attached to it so if it is indeed real fans should be expecting an official announcement in the coming months.
