Though a lot of fans may know him as Quicksilver in the X-Men movies, Evan Peters has been known to dabble in the horror genre with work in shows like American Horror Story, and now he’s putting on the shoes of real-life serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer for an upcoming Netflix miniseries.
Here’s a look at Peters in Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story:
Here’s the official description:
From the Emmy award winning creator of American Crime Story comes Dahmer – Monster: the Jeffrey Dahmer Story. The series examines the gruesome and horrific true crimes of Jeffrey Dahmer and the systemic failures that enabled one of America’s most notorious serial killers to continue his murderous spree in plain sight for over a decade.
Besides being a killer, Dahmer was also recognized as a cannibal, which the trailer teases a lot of of, especially with him trying to force his neighbour to eat a sandwich he made her. We don’t know what else to expect from the show, but if you’ve watched American Crime Story, I think we could already have an idea about what kind of tone to expect.
I do have to say, though Peters was an actor I could expect in this kind of project, I am curious about the performance of Niecy Nash, who is best known for her work in comedy. It’s going to be interesting to see her playing the opposite of a cannibal without imagining Deputy Raineesha Williams.
Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story premieres on Netflix on Sept. 21.
