Avengers: Endgame is just a few days away, and while some fans feel intimidated by the film’s overwhelming runtime, Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. can’t help but tease the relevance of the last eight minutes of the film.
Downy just recently spoke in an interview with The Upcoming to help promote what might be his final film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the Marvel star decided to start off the discussion declaring that the last eight minutes of Endgame might actually be crazier than the craziest ending in the MCU.
“The last 8 minutes of that movie are maybe the best 8 minutes of the entire history of the whole run of them in a way because everyone’s involved. So I was delighted,” the Iron Man star told the publication.
That might seem like a bold statement – one that may potentially reveal a few spoilers for the film. Could Downey Jr. have revealed the return of the dusted heroes during the last eight minutes of the film by mentioning “everyone’s” involvement? Or could he have simply been referring to the original six Avengers?
Whatever the case, it seems like Endgame is going to deliver the best of the best – something that we’re all expecting from a film that not only closes the curtain on Joe and Anthony Russo’s two-part Avengers movie but also culminates the past ten years of the MCU.
There’s a lot riding on Endgame, and we’re expecting one hell of a ride.
Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
