1. The Ship We Never Expected
No, we’re not talking about the ships which joined Daenerys’ fleet at the end of the season finale (although this, too is a huge game-changer). We’re talking about everyone’s favourite blossoming romance between Brienne and Tormund. The romance may be somewhat one-sided, with Tormund eyeing-up the warrior across the dinner table, whilst Brienne looks disgusted, but the pair have sparked a lot of excitement on the Internet.
Tormund has come out with some hilarious one-liners this season, and seeing the exchanges between the Wildling and Brienne have been some of our favourite moments. Though they might not be big game-changing sequences for Westeros, we rarely see these light, entertaining moments on a show like this. We need to savour them while we still can.
