One great thing about the Godzilla: King of Monsters teaser is that it hypes up all the beasts in the film without really giving us a good look at them. Thanks to the SH MonsterArts line though, we get a full look at the likes of Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah.
This was shared by director Mike Dougherty:
Playing with my old Godzilla Shogun Warrior and the family camcorder is how I got started. Here’s hoping these SH MonsterArts figures will inspire some kid out there to do the same. pic.twitter.com/ArQbWY8iJG

As you can see, the film has decided to keep Ghidorah’s golden look, and he look absolutely menacing with his wings spread out wide. We also have a good look at Mothra who is actually covered in this really neat pattern. So far, all we’ve seen is just Mothra in full glow with its wings spreading out.
Rodan honestly looks pretty standard as a beast, and Godzilla also looks the same as he did from the first film.
Though SDCC 2018 was gearing up for Aquaman’s trailer to be the ‘best’ one in the event, I have to say, Godzilla: King of Monsters totally blew everyone out of the water. Who knew that the best way to market the movie would be to use some classical music?
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of Monsters hits theaters May 31, 2019.
