Lucasfilm had decided to announce a Boba Fett movie during the release day for Solo: A Star Wars Story, and a lot of fans are looking forward to a James Mangold-helmed Star Wars film. Right now, we still don’t know what point in the timeline this spinoff will be held. However, Star Wars comic artist Phil Noto has an idea on who could play an adult version of Fett.

Shared by writer Tom Taylor, here’s what Taika Waititi might look like as the Mandalorian bounty hunter:

It makes total sense for him to get the role. Besides the fact that he’s a great actor, he’s also of Kiwi descent—just like Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison. But if the movie takes place after Return of the Jedi, fans might revolt if Morrison won’t return.

Interestingly enough, some fans also want Daniel Logan to take over the role. Logan played the kid Boba in Attack of the Clones, and he has also reprised the role for The Clone Wars series. Plus, here’s a look at him wearing the Boba Fett gear:

Though I would love to see Waititi take over the role, I imagine he’s pretty much focused working on his own movies. For now, he’s directing a film called Jojo Rabbit, a WW2-era movie where a German boy finds his mother harboring a fugitive Jewish girl. Waititi himself is also going to play the boy’s imaginary version of Adolf Hitler.

Hopefully Mangold finds the right man for the job.

Boba Fett doesn’t have a release date yet but you can catch Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters now.
