There were a lot of things to love about The Mandalorian, and one of them was Gina Carano’s ex-Rebel Cara Dune. What’s great is, Cara is coming back for the second season, and Carano has just confirmed that she’s wrapped shooting her scenes.
Check out her post on IG:
We don’t know how large Cara’s part for the second season will be, but the last season had her joining the Bounty Hunters’ Guild to become a personal enforcer of Greef Karga. If the second season is going to be following the tone of the first season, then I can imagine that Cara will only appear in a few episodes to help out our main Mando during specific missions. I guess it would also be fun to watch the two compete for one target.
I have to say, Carano really plays a great Cara Dune, and the show really goes all out to show us how much of a hard-ass she is. Maybe in Season 2, Cara is given a lot more personal stakes, and we get to watch her have her own goals after becoming a member of the guild.
We don’t really know what to expect when it comes to this second season, but we’ll probably find out more about Moff Gideon and what he wants to do with Baby Yoda. Does he want to clone him? Or does he want to steal his Force powers? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
The Mandalorian comes back to Disney+ this October.
