We haven’t gotten any official images of the cast from Star Wars Episode IX yet, but thanks to The Sun, we have a look at Poe Dameron, Finn, Chewbacca, and possibly Naomi Ackie’s character.

It’s been said that the movie will feature a significant time jump, and it looks like Finn definitely does have longer hair in this photo. What’s also nice is we actually see him wearing something else other than Poe’s old jacket.
Poe looks like the space version of a swashbuckler, and I imagine if you add a vest on him, he would look like he stole Han Solo’s get-up from A New Hope.
Chewbacca is seen standing next to some horses with what looks to be motion capture markers on their faces. No doubt the film will probably add some CGI in post to make them look like alien horses.
Aside familiar characters, we see some people dressed in camo gear, and it would be a good guess that they are the natives of whatever planet this set is supposed to be representing. I’m guessing that the woman with the afro standing in front of the horses is newcomer Naomi Ackie in character.
Lucasfilm usually keeps a tight lid on its production, so it’s pretty rare that we get photos like these coming to the internet. Hopefully we get a clear cast photo—or maybe even a teaser—before 2018 is over.
