Though Simon Pegg plays the part of Unkar Plutt in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he actually has another role in the universe as the voice of bounty hunter Dengar. With Katee Sackhoff set to play the live-action role of Bo-Katan in The Mandalorian, Pegg says he wants in on the show as well.

Talking to Collider, Pegg shares that he would love to play the live-action role of Dengar in The Mandalorian if he was given the chance. Check it out:

Pegg has actually played the part of Dengar in two Star Wars properties. He voiced the character in The Clone Wars, and again in DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront from 2015.

Personally, I would have preferred someone like John C. Reilly or Rainn Wilson play the part of Dengar, but I’m sure Pegg could play the part with a little help from the prosthetics department. Then again, I would love to see Pegg play someone that actually looked like him. Bonus points if he’s able to co-star with Nick Frost.

For now, The Mandalorian 2 is set to feature some real big cast members. Besides Katee Sackhoff, word has it that the show is also going to bring back Temuera Morrison (Boba Fett), Timothy Olyphant, and Michael Biehn. It also hasn’t been officially confirmed, but Rosario Dawson has been heavily rumored to play the live-action Ahsoka Tano.

We don’t know when we’re going to get our first look at Season 2, but The Mandalorian is set to hit Disney+ this October.
