The show may have skipped a year, but Silicon Valley is coming back for their sixth and final season later this month. With the show premiering by the end of the week, HBO has released a new trailer giving us more of Pied Piper’s problems and the gang’s classic shenanigans.
From Mike Judge (Office Space, Beavis & Butthead) comes this tech-savvy satire about programmer Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch), whose game-changing compression algorithm becomes the subject of a valley-wide bidding war.
Besides Richard getting into more trouble than he’s bargained for, it looks like this season will bring back a lot of familiar things like the characters of Russ Haneman as well as Erlich’s (now Jian-Yang’s) incubator home.
I have to say, I love this show, and I’m kind of bummed that their ending things already. Then again, it was great to see the characters finally get a win in the last season, seeing as all previous seasons always ended with Richard getting the short end of the stick. Now Pied Piper is undoubtedly a success, but as you can expect, they have more problems to deal with; and that’s not even including the delightfully petty head of Hooli Gavin Belson.
I know things are kind of bad with T.J. Miller, but I would love for his Erlich Bachman to make one last appearance seeing as he used to be a huge part of the show.
Silicon Valley is created by Mike Judge and stars Thomas Middleditch, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Zach Woods, and Amanda Crew.
The final season of Silicon Valley premieres this coming Oct. 27 on HBO.
