Things seem to be going downhill for T.J. Miller since he left Silicon Valley. Besides the fact that The Emoji Movie bombed and he was facing allegations for sexual misconduct, Miller has now been arrested for calling in a fake bomb threat last month.
According to The Blast:
Miller allegedly called a 911 dispatcher in New Jersey and reported that he was on Amtrak Train 2256 traveling from Washington, D.C., toward Penn Station in New York City, and that a female passenger “has a bomb in her bag.”
According to an attendant on the car that Miller was in, he was believed to have been intoxicated when he boarded the train and continued drinking while he was on. He was then said to have been removed in New York due to his intoxication, and the woman he was reporting was said to have had ‘hostile exchanges’ with him.
The report continues:
Authorities believe Miller was “motivated by a grudge against the subject female, called 911 to relay false information about a suspected bomb on the train, and continued to convey false information to investigators while the public safety response was ongoing.
Miller has now been released on a $100,000 bond, and his actions would have merited him a maximum term of imprisonment for five years. This also isn’t the first case where Miller has been called out for public intoxication since it has been said that he would arrive on the Silicon Valley set under the influence, and he would often delay production with his behavior.
I actually like Miller, but after reading on these reports of his misbehavior, I kind of wish he would pull himself together. His wit and delivery usually provide the highlight for several shows that he’s been in, and I would hate for him to suddenly be out of the job. Hopefu,lly this arrest turns out to be a wakeup call for him.
I’m just crossing my fingers that he decides to come back to Silicon Valley should there be a sixth season next year.
