It’s been almost two years since the release of Justice League, and fans are still adamant that they want WB to release Zack Snyder’s original cut for the film. While nothing official has been announced on WB’s part, Snyder himself has revealed that another League member was supposed to appear in the film—and it wasn’t a Green Lantern.

Snyder reveals that one of the scenes was supposed to introduce us to J’onn J’onzz a.k.a. Martian Manhunter who has been hiding out on Earth as Man of Steel character General Swanwick. Check it out:

This reveal actually puts Manhunter in the DCEU since the very beginning, and it kind of adds to his character when he doesn’t flinch during the interrogation scene on MoS when Clark stands up:

For now, the latest update we have on the Snyder cut is that it’s mostly done, and it will need a couple million dollars to complete. With WB moving forward with their lighter in tone DCEU, some think that it would be no use for the studio to revisit the darker tone that Snyder was aiming for; with the success of Joker though, it’s very possible that they would reconsider taking on darker movies in the future. You don’t get as much critical praise with an MCU film the same as Joker has; then again, you don’t get the same worry about mass shootings either.

We don’t know about a Snyder Cut release for now, but you can catch DC’s Joker now in theaters.
