Though he may not have been able to finish his Star Wars movie, Colin Trevorrow is coming back to the Jurassic franchise, and he’s set to helm the third film. What’s interesting is, we finally have an official title for the movie.

As per a recent post on Trevorrow’s Twitter, the next installment in the Jurassic franchise is titled Jurassic World: Dominion. Check it out:

No official description has been given for Dominion yet, but Chris Pratt had confirmed on Ellen that the movie will have him travelling the world. From that we can assume that the dinosaurs have gotten everywhere, and the movie will have to deal with the humans finding out a way to co-exist with these creatures.

I have to say, a lot of people didn’t like Fallen Kingdom, but it ended in a very interesting note. We’ve had dinosaur rampages in movies before, but an entire world covered in dinosaurs set in today’s timeline is a whole different animal.

After Jurassic World, Trevorrow has admittedly entered some kind of slump, with his recent movies not being received too well. But after the leak of his Duel of the Fates script, I think everyone is ready to give him some kind of second chance. Let’s hope he manages to stick the landing this time when it comes to the end of the Jurassic franchise.

For now, Jurassic World: Dominion is set for a release on June 11, 2021.
