Next year will see the release of Game of Thrones 8 as well as How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, and both will feature actor Kit Harington. To promote HTTYD, Dreamworks has releases these ‘long lost audition tapes’ featuring Harington with Toothless.

Besides Toothless (and Harington) being adorable, the clip also has jabs at Harington’s role on Game of Thrones as Jon Snow. Coincidentally, both shows have dragons, only in HHTYD, Harington’s character Eret is a dragon trapper, and in Game of Thrones, Jon Snow is revealed to have the ‘blood of the dragon.’
With this film being the last in the franchise, I’m just crossing my fingers they have a small cameo for the Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke.
We don’t know how large of a role Eret will play in The Hidden World, but we do know that in the last film, Eret is the one who ended up with Stoick’s (Gerard Butler) dragon after he was killed. With the villain in this third film being teased to be another dragon trapper, I’m sure that Hiccup will ask for the help of Eret to take Grimmel down.
As Hiccup fulfills his dream of creating a peaceful dragon utopia, Toothless’ discovery of an untamed, elusive mate draws the Night Fury away. When danger mounts at home and Hiccup’s reign as village chief is tested, both dragon and rider must make impossible decisions to save their kind.
