Hawkeye Concept Art Gives Look at Kate Bishop

While Disney+’s Star Wars shows are going as scheduled, a lot of people are waiting on Marvel’s miniseries like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki. Hawkeye is also one of the upcoming titles for the streaming service, and concept artist Andy Park has shared with us a look at the next Hawkeye, Kate Bishop.

Check it out:

It’s pretty faithful to Kate’s look from Young Avengers plus we get some influence from Hawkeye’s garb in the Avengers films. I always thought that shades looked pretty cool on Kate, and it’s pretty much the same when it comes to the concept art. I also love that she’s covered in bruises and scrapes, unlike Hawkeye who usually comes out of things clean.

While we don’t have any official announcements yet, the rumor mills have been strongly suggesting that Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) has officially been cast as Kate Bishop. Though it looked like she might have passed on the role, I wouldn’t put it past Steinfeld to commit to a big franchise. I mean, she was supposed to be the new lead of the Transformers films, but we haven’t gotten any update on that yet. Might as well fool around in the MCU while she can.

We don’t have a release date for Hawkeye yet, but the show was expected to hit in the fall of 2021. With COVID-19 effectively pushing everything back though, it’s likely Clint Barton’s spinoff series will hit Disney+ early 2022.
