It looks like the week for superheroines. Marvel Studios has just dropped the first teaser for the Black Widow movie, and now it’s being teased that we could be getting our first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 this coming Sunday.

To be fair, there’s no mention of a trailer at all, but what else could they be teasing for CCXP 2019? At this point, the film is already close to releasing, and it’s the perfect time to start the marketing push. Wouldn’t it be a bummer if they only screened it at the event, and everyone else around the world has to wait until next year?
Originally Wonder Woman 1984 was set to come out last month, but WB decided to push the film to June of 2020. Director Patty Jenkins was said to have wanted more time initially, and it’s great that WB was able to oblige her. What’s funny is, Jenkins had ended up admitting that she finished the film on time, and she wanted the original release date back. At least by the time June comes, we know that they were able to polish WW84 to the best version of itself.
No plot has been released for Wonder Woman 1984, but it has been teased that Pedro Pascal is playing the part of Maxwell Lord. We also know that Kristen Wiig has been cast in the role of Cheetah, so it’s going to be interesting to see how that all turns out.
