It’s been taking a while, but Matt Reeves’ The Batman is finally in the works. While we don’t have an image of Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader yet, the first set photos for the film have come out; and they give us a look at some Gotham City vehicles.

For now we get 3 different kinds of cars; one news van, a polic car, and a van for “Water & Power”. Besides that, we have some extras dressed like police officers.
We don’t know how all of this will play into the film, but you can always bet that Gotham City is going to give us a variation of the GCPD. After all, the city is probably best known for its crime—that’s why they got Batman to try and fix things.
With production underway, hopefully we get an official look at the cast soon. Fingers crossed WB decides to release some official pictures before set photos of the actors come out online. Birds of Prey basically did the same thing, and maybe The Batman will follow suit. I mean, I get the point of all this secrecy, but I’m getting tired of studios trying their hardest to keep everyone guessing.
With a release date set for June of 2021, I bet we’ll get our first look at the film later in 2020. What are the odds we’ll get a teaser before the year ends?
For now, Matt Reeves’ The Batman is set for a release on June 25, 2021.
