News had dropped earlier this week that Lucasfilm has hired Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige to develop a Star Wars movie, and news has it that Feige already has a ‘major star’ in mind to play a certain character. A lot of fans have speculated who this mystery actor is, and one of the fan favorite guesses is Brie Larson. What’s interesting is, Larson wants in on it.
This is her post after all the speculation:

While there’s no evidence to suggest that Larson is up for a role, a lot of people suspect that she’s Feige’s choice, counting the success of Captain Marvel. Until we get an official update on the project, all we can really do is guess. With all the female leads that Star Wars is getting, I think Larson could be a good choice.
Personally, I think Feige has an existing character in mind to put in his film—maybe someone from the expanded universe. My guess is that he would want Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) to play Dash Rendar, another space rogue type. I would love to have Pratt bounce off of Alden Ehrenreich’s Han Solo at some point, but maybe he would think twice when it comes to playing another Star-Lord type.
We don’t have any details on Feige’s Star Wars film yet, but a lot of fans sure are excited. You think he’d be up for making Solo 2?
Here’s the description for Star Wars: The Rise of Skyalker:
The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron’s journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
