“Make a Good Thing Bad”: Watch New Trailer for Daisy Jones & The Six

We’ve gotten a lot of great musical biopics over the past few years with movies like Rocketman, Bohemian Rhapsody, and last year’s Elvis. Now Amazon Prime Video is set to bring us another musical ‘biopic’, but rather of a fictional band.

Here’s the official trailer for Daisy Jones & The Six:

Here’s the official description:

Following the rise of rock band Daisy Jones and The Six through the ’70s LA music scene on their quest for worldwide icon status.

The series is based on a book of the same name from Taylor Jenkins Reid which was published back in 2019. Though the band is fictional, it was said that Reid had drawn inspiration from real-life band Fleetwood Mac whose members Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were said to have had a very intense relationship.

It was also said that it was this performance from Fleetwood Mac back in 1997 that inspired the story:

Even the comments on the video keep pointing out the stare down between Nicks and Buckingham; it’s crazy how it was able to spawn an entire series twenty years later. Even the costumes chosen in the series were said to look similar to the ones the band had worn back in the 70s.

The series looks like an interesting drama, and it looks like there are also some good original songs in the soundtrack.

Daisy Jones & The Six premieres on Amazon Prime Video on March 3.
