Ahsoka is set to premiere next week, and a lot of people are excited to watch her take the main stage after some cameo roles in The Mandalorian. Just in, Lucasfilm has dropped a new featurette that talks about the Master/Apprentice relationships in the show.

We’ve known for a while that Ahsoka and Sabine will be at the heart of the series, but it has also been heavily teased that we’ll also be looking in-depth at the relationship between Ahsoka and Anakin. Though the two did have fleshed out relationship in The Clone Wars, a lot of fans who haven’t checked out that show are still curious of what the two would look like in live-action.
We already had Hayden Christensen return for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and fans are hoping he also gets a chance to shine with Ahsoka, even if Vader is likely already dead by this time. Who knows, maybe we could be seeing Anakin as Force Ghost post-Return of the Jedi. Even Kenobi had teased a small comeback for Qui-Gon Jinn.
With a mixed reception for The Mandalorian’s latest season, a lot of fans are hoping that Ahsoka will deliver. I’m just hoping Dave Filoni doesn’t rely too heavily on his fanservicing—which he has a tendency to do whenever he’s behind the wheel of Mandalorian or Book of Boba Fett.
Look out for the 2-episode premiere of Ahsoka on Disney+ streaming on Aug. 23.
