A few months ago, DreamWorks gave us our first look at their She-Ra reboot, and the internet went absolutely crazy. Now we have our first teaser for the show, and it gives us a look at the transformation of Adora.
Check it out:
I’ll be honest, the teaser doesn’t really give me enough to get me excited or disappointed, but I’m sure that we’ll get a better look at the series what with the show premiering in November.
When we got our first look at the show, a lot of people were complaining that Adora had been designed to look more like a man, and it was another “SJW” move by the producers. On the other hand, a lot of other fans were really into the design, and liked a She-Ra that looks stronger and not as voluptuous as the original design.
It’s worth noting that mostly men were complaining about She-Ra’s new look. What a surprise.
In the original show, Adora was the brother of Prince Adam (a.k.a. He-Man) and was kidnapped and raised on the world of Etheria. She still has her signature catchphrase when she transforms, but I’m wondering if the reboot is going to do some little tweaks for the lore.
I’m also curious if we’ll ever get to see He-Man as well.
Catch She-Ra and the Princess of Power on Netflix Nov. 16.
