The Hargreeves are Back for One Last Reunion in Trailer for Final Season of Umbrella Academy

It’s been two years since we last saw the Hargreeves in the third season of The Umbrella Academy, and now Netflix is ready to say good-bye to it’s gothic brand of super-powered orphans.

Check out the trailer for the fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy:

Though we’ve watched the siblings go through impossible odds throughout the earlier seasons, the third season had ended with all of the losing their powers and having to face a normal life. The series being what it is, though, it looks like they will get their powers back, and it will be leading to some kind of timeline-destorying, apocalypse-enducing adventure.

The season will be bringing back all the Hargreeves kids (including a finally tangible and alive Ben Hargreeves), and Variety reports that new cast members will include Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace), and David Cross (Arrested Development). Offerman and Mullally will be playing community college professors who have been suffering from extreme déjà vu, and Cross is said to be playing a shy business owner who wants to reconnect with his daughter.

With each season facing the end of the world, I’m curious on how the final season of the show is going to tackle its story. I’ll admit, I always thought that The Umbrella Academy was just X-Men with a goth filter, but it’s certainly one of the more unique comic book adaptations streaming on Netflix.

Catch the final season of The Umbrella Academy when it premieres on Netflix on Aug. 8.
