The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Coming Out in August?

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Coming Out in August?

We’ve known for a while that Disney+ was working on a Marvel miniseries called The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but we haven’t had a specific release date besides “Fall of 2020”. What’s interesting is, we might just have a release month.

In Deadline’s article about Noah Mills (The Brave, The Enemy Within) joining the cast, it’s said that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier  would be coming to Disney+ this August. Seeing that we haven’t had a specific date at all since the show was announced, a lot of people are really honing in on this little bit of news.

If anything, August can give us some insight on some other releases in MCU Phase 4. With a release set for 3 months after Black Widow, it’s likely we would get our first trailer/teaser in June. It’s possible that this series be followed up for a preview of Eternals which comes out in November. We also know that WandaVision comes out this year, and seeing where The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Eternals are placed, maybe it would release in December.

This is just speculation on my part, so it’s very likely that Marvel has a different schedule planned. I’m just trying to map out what to expect if The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is indeed coming out in August.

No synopsis has been released for the show as of now, but rumor has it that the main plot will involve who will take up the mantle of Captain America. Though Steve did choose Sam Wilson by the end of Endgame, it’s said that the government has someone else in mind; add to that Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) will be causing his own kind of mayhem.

Catch The Falcon and The Winter Soldier when it comes out (allegedly) this August.
