Though production may have been halted after Robert Pattinson got COVID-19, The Batman is once again rolling, and some new set images of the cast in costume have come out online. While Bruce Wayne still looks like a goth millionaire, we do have a look at Selina Kyle (Zoe Kravitz) in formal wear and Penguin (Colin Farrell) in great prosthetics.
Check them out:

We don’t really know what the scene is, but it looks to have the characters walking out of some kind of courthouse. In some other shots, we actually get to see Selina Kyle holding onto crime boss Carmine Falcone (John Turturro):
Matt Reeves really about to give us one of the most comic accurate Batman movies ever.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that Falcone has three scars on his cheek, just like in the comics. It was actually Catwoman who have him these, and we can suspect that Falcone has no idea that Kyle and Catwoman are the same person. I mean, Kyle’s nails in the photo are already a dead giveaway, but I wouldn’t put it past Catwoman to try and charm a target just so she could steal from them in the future.
A lot of people have been waiting for Batman to return to the big screen, and thanks to COVID-19, we’ll have to wait a bit longer. Then again, I’d much rather just wait for a complete movie, than to have something now that’s full of compromises to the pandemic.
The Batman is set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
