Netflix has finally released the third season for Stranger Things, and after a year of so much secrecy, the actors can finally go a bit all out when it comes to talking about the series. Just in, Finn Wolfhard (Mike) has posted up this video of him and Joe Keery (Steve) pulling a prank on Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin).
Check it out:

Wolfhard also admitted below the post that he had wanted to post this for a year already, but it’s likely he wasn’t allowed to for fear of spoiling what they were working on. The Duffer brothers must have been trying their best to keep the season’s secrets close to their chest. They probably didn’t want fans to piece things together and spoil everyone else online.
I have to admit, I’m having a hard time telling if Matarazzo didn’t see the slap coming, or if he was in on it the whole time. The slap just seemed to come out of nowhere, and it could be perfect as a Vine video—seeing as Wolfhard probably grew up watching those at his age.
Just like with Avengers: Endgame, I think it would be common courtesy not to spoil anything about Stranger Things online for a while. At best we should probably wait until the weekend is over and most people have already checked out the show. Endgame actually had two weeks for a spoiler ban, but since this is a Netflix show, I imagine it would be easier for people to get watching right away.
Catch Stranger Things 3 which is currently out on Netflix.
