Stan Lee Has Returned to the Set of Avengers: Infinity War

Now well into its sixth month of filming, Stan Lee has made another appearance on the set of Avengers: Infinity War. It is his second time on the set after first meeting some of the cast back in April.

Thanks to an Instagram post by Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., fans can get excited by the Marvel maverick meeting actors on set. Pictured are Downey, Tom Holland, and Benedict Cumberbatch – both who play Spider-Man and Dr Strange, respectively. Also pictured are the directing duo Anthony and Joe Russo.

Below is the post, which has so far gained almost 800,000 likes.

Of course, this is just a small number of castmates who are featured in the epic Avengers sequels which are currently shooting back-to-back. Other members who aren’t pictured include Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Josh Brolin, and Paul Rudd.

It is assumed that Lee has already filmed his cameo ever since James Gunn confirmed to filming four famous Lee cameos last year. Assuming we have already seen one in Spider-Man: Homecoming, fans are still patiently waiting for him to appear in future Marvel instalments. These include Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, and now both Avengers sequels.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos.

A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artefacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

The release dates for Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel are May 4, 2018, and May 3, 2019.
