Spider-Man 3 is set to come out next year, and soon enough, production should be getting started on Tom Holland’s next solo adventure as the webslinger. What’s interesting is, the working title for the movie has come out, and it’s a Seinfeld reference.

As per Production Weekly (via Heroic Hollywood), Spider-Man 3 will have a working title of Serenity Now. If you know your Seinfeld, this is a phrase that Frank screams out whenever he’s trying to calm down. Check it:

While some think this could be a hint at what the plot of Spider-Man 3 is about, it’s worth noting that the other working titles of the past Spider-Man films have been Seinfeld references as well. Spider-Man: Homecoming was called Summer of George with Far from Home being titled Fall of George. You’d think they’d just keep the gag going, but I guess Serenity Now is fun enough.

With Morbius confirming that Tom Holland does indeed exist in the Spider-Verse as well, it’s going to be interesting to see what’s in store for Spider-Man 3. Will Peter finally be going against the Sinister Six? Or is it best to just wait until a sixth film?

With too many villains usually being a problem for past Spider-Man movies, I hope they find a way to balance the characters properly. I thought Homecoming was pretty clever by emphasizing who was the main villain (Vulture) and who were just secondary players (Shocker, Tinkerer).

Spider-Man 3 is set to hit theaters July 16, 2021.
