Obi-Wan Kenobi Begins to Wrap Production

Though the big live-action Star Wars show coming out later this year is The Book of Boba Fett, a lot of fans have their eyes set on Obi-Wan Kenobi which will see the return of everyone’s favorite Jedi master. Now news has come out that several actors have started to wrap their roles in the series and this could mean the whole production could wrap soon.

As per Comic Book, multiple sources have guessed that several cast members of the Kenobi series have finished their work on the show; this list includes Sung Kang, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Rupert Friend. Indira Varma had also posted this on her IG:

We don’t have any official announcement of who’s playing who in Kenobi, but rumors had come out that Kang would be playing a Sith Inquisitor in the show; Varma had also been spotted in what looked to be Imperial garb.

No official plot has been released for the Kenobi series, but Star Wars fans can surmise that it will take place between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. While we can expect to follow Obi-Wan during his time of hiding from the Empire, it’s also rumored that we would be following Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader as he goes on the hunt for remaining Jedi and Obi-Wan himself.

No release date has been set for Obi-Wan Kenobi, but the show is expected to come out sometime in 2023. The Book of Boba Fett is set to premiere sometime in the winter season.
