The Harry Potter film franchise ended back in 2011, but that doesn’t mean that J.K. Rowling was done telling the story of her Wizarding World. A new trailer has finally dropped for the Fantastic Beasts sequel, and we get more creatures, characters, and familiar locations.
Check it out:
Of course, everyone will know what Hogwarts looks like already, and we get to see Dumbledore at home in his Transfiguration classroom. With all the young students in the trailer, I wonder if we’ll get to meet anyone familiar like young Minerva McGonagall or Horace Slughorn.
Besides that, we get a new, more disheveled look for Grindelwald, and we also catch glimpses of even more fantastic beasts. With this franchise said to be a globe-trotting adventure, then we should expect to meet creatures from all sorts of lore. I’d like to see a traditional Chinese dragon somewhere down the line.
The movie looks pretty interesting, but I hope that it comes out more memorable than the first Fantastic Beasts. Though I liked the film at the time, I admit, I can barely remember anything that happened in that movie.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is slated for a release on Nov. 16.
