HBO Max Accidentally Leaked Justice League Early

After waiting and campaigning for three years, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is finally set to come out on HBO Max next week. What’s odd though, is that someone on HBO Max had apparently leaked the film early.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, users have reported that clicking on the Tom & Jerry movie on HBO Max would then start playing the first hour of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. This was pointed out by user @ThenDougSaid on Twitter:

Several other users had reported the error, and HBO Max had already handled the issue. That being said, several leaks and screenshots have come out online, and everyone is wondering who screwed the pooch on this one.

Being a supporter of the Snyder Cut movement after all these years, I’d really much rather wait for the official release than to catch some of the leaked footage online. I mean, we’ve waited this long, and I would probably want my first exposure of the film to be something more legit than some handheld camera footage.

Either way, it doesn’t seem to faze anyone one the HBO Max marketing team—if anything, this leak is just helping build hype on the cut. While there are some haters for the Snyder Cut release, they have likely been hating on the movement for a while, and no leak is going to be changing anyone’s opinions.

Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity, and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly-awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes in Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash, it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Catch Zack Snyder’s Justice League when it comes out on HBO Max on March 18.
