The first trailer for Toy Story 4 admittedly gave us more of the heartfelt moments of the film, but now Disney Pixar has dropped a final trailer for the movie, and it puts more focus one the fun side of things—you know, what the kids would be after.
Check it out:
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
The trailer does give us more gags, and it properly introduces us to Keanu Reeves’ character Duke Caboom who is apparently based off of a real stuntman in Canada. This is also just my guess, but I think the scenes with Woody in the rain show us him trying to save Bo Peep after she’s sold or given away from Andy’s home.
With Pixar said to be focusing more on original films after the release of this movie, I guess we could say that this would be the last Toy Story film in the franchise. Personally I thought Toy Story 3 already capped things off nicely, but hopefully TS4 will be a story worth telling.
Catch Toy Story 4 when it hits theaters June 21.
