Though the two had started on Game of Thrones together, Richard Madden ended up getting written off the show way before Kit Harington. The two are set to make a reunion with Marvel’s Eternals, and Madden has expressed his excitement to reunite with Harington for the film.

Taking to Entertainment Weekly at the D23 Expo, Madden was asked about a reunion with Harington in the film, and he said:

“It’s brilliant… It’s been about 10 years since we’ve worked together, I think. So we’ve moved on a bit onto different things, so I’m really excited to get back on set.”

With Harington staying on with Game of Thrones till the finale, Eternals is actually his next big project after GoT. Madden is a different case though, as he’s starred in many other different projects since Robb Stark; his biggest role recently was probably that of David in Bodyguard, but there are also rumors going around that he’s being considered to be the next James Bond after Daniel Craig.

Then again, with Madden joining Eternals, it’s likely he won’t have time to sign up for another big franchise, but then again, we don’t know if his character Ikaris will make it to the end of the movie. Going back to Harington, he’s been cast as the Black Knight. We don’t know how the two will meet-up, but everyone (including the fans) are eager for a reunion between the Stark boys.

“The story of ‘THE ETERNALS’ is set millions of years ago when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans, creating the super-powered individuals as well as more villainous off-shoots known as Deviants. The two groups went on to battle each other throughout history to see which would eventually become the ultimate race. The story involves the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans.”

Marvel’s Eternals is set to hit theaters Nov. 6, 2020.
