While The Mandalorian showrunner Jon Favreau says he would be interested in making a Star Wars Holiday Special for Disney+, LEGO has gone ahead of him to bring us the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special. Just in, Disney+ has dropped the first poster for the special, and we also have a November release date.

Check it out:

Here’s the official synopsis:

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special” reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day. Rey sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?

Though the main stars won’t be providing voices, the special was still able to tap some actors from the films to reprise their original roles. So far, we know that Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose), and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) will be making a return. The show is even bringing back Clone Wars alum James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan), Matt Lanter (Anakin), and Dee Bradley Baker (Clones) to reprise their characters.

Even if the original Star Wars Holiday Special was notorious for being terrible, I think having a new one is in good spirit of the fanbase. It’s also smart that they decided to do the whole thing in LEGO so nobody would be dumb enough to argue if this was all canon. But since this is the Star Wars fanbase we’re talking about, I’m sure that’s going to be a possibility.

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is set come out on Disney+ on Nov. 17.
