Though Marvel Studios had released the teaser for Avengers: Endgame, the preview could only give us so much info about the film. For now fans have been hanging on to every shred of news that they can find. Just in, the movie could actually come out to be one of the longest in the MCU lineup.

Talking to Empire Magazine (via ComicBookMovie), the Russo brothers confirm:

“There’s a high probability that this movie will clock in at around three hours. It’s a big movie with a lot of story.”

As of now, the longest movie to be pumped out by Marvel Studios is Avengers: Infinity War which has a runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes. Of course, it’s very possible that Endgame could still have a runtime under 3 hours, but seeing that it’s a conclusion to over 10 years of Marvel movies, I’d the studio would like to take their time with a movie that contains everyone in their roster.

Besides, if each of the Hobbit films can be over 3 hours, why can’t Endgame?

With the teaser released, I’m guessing that Marvel is going to pull back focus to a film that will be coming out earlier—Captain Marvel. I suspect that our next preview for Endgame would come after March 8, when CM is out of the way and the road is clear to the premiere of Endgame.

Catch Avengers: Endgame in theaters April 26, 2019.
